Tunstall Forest - Year 3 and 4 - Stone Age

We have had an amazing day learning about the Stone Age, making butter knives, chalk lamps, weaving and shell jewellery. Everyone should be so proud of themselves for being so wonderfully enthusiastic and for listening so carefully. The team running day were very impressed, and all the adults said what a lovely group you were! 

Year 5 and 6 Residential 2026 - Thorpe Woodlands 

What an absolutely incredible week we had on our residential!

We are unbelievably proud of each and every one of the children. Over the course of the week, they have thrown themselves into every challenge and have shown courage, resilience and determination that truly impressed all of the adults.

Many of them stepped well outside of their comfort zones, encouraged one another and refused to give up even when things felt a little scary! Watching their confidence grow day by day was such a privilege.

Not only did they challenge themselves in activities, but they also represented our school beautifully. Their manners, kindness and respect towards staff, instructors and each other did not go unnoticed. We received so many compliments about their behaviour, positivity and teamwork.

Year 6 - Aldeburgh Sailing 

Thank you to Aldeburgh sailing club for hosting our annual Year 6 trip. The children really enjoy the experience. 

Year 3 and 4 - Colchester Zoo 

We have had an amazing day at the zoo! We had a great workshop where we practised our sketching skills, and then spent the day exploring the zoo together and spotting mammals, reptiles, birds, fish and amphibians. Well done to all our curious crocodiles!
